As moms, our bodies and minds are forever changed by pregnancy and the addition of a child(ren) into our lives. The impact of pregnancy and childbirth is felt inside & out of a woman’s body. There is no “getting my body back” or “going back” to pre-pregnancy you; we cannot undo the changes this amazing feat has brought to our bodies, minds and life. We must work instead with our present, postnatal body to heal and strengthen.

Every single birth story is unique. At Strongmom Coaching, we understand that. Every woman’s body and mind are impacted by this amazing feat – pregnancy and childbirth.  set goals, becoming our best, new, strong-mom selves! From group workouts with baby to Diastasis Recti rehab or private strength workouts – achieving your fitness goals can start here. Take care of mama and set a positive example to baby/all children by prioritizing your health and finding time to exercise/take care of you!

Postnatal Assessment & Goal Setting Session

Assess for Diastasis Recti and Deep Core Muscle Activation. Full body movement screen, focus corrective exercises on any discomforts. Discuss goals and how to move forward with safe and effective exercises!

Postnatal Assessment $75

PostNatal or Deep Core Rehab

Specific exercises working to improve any discomforts, unwanted peeing, pain in the pelvic region or back pain. Working with our client’s goals we are continually assessing and provide education for in-person or at-home corrective exercises!

Postnatal / Deep Core Rehab $75/hr

PostNatal Strength Training

Working from deep core out to strong posture, legs and upper body strength & endurance. Basic movements up to heavy lifting or returning to specific sports – We’ll meet you where you’re at and bring you to where you wanna go! 1:1, semi-private or join us for Mom & Baby Group Workouts!

PRENATAL SERVICES

Our bodies and minds drastically change with pregnancy. A lot of growth, changes in appetite, sleep patterns, new aches or pains. The good news is we don’t have to reduce physical activity. We can even add in activity if we were less active before or in early pregnancy. Movement is key to a healthy pregnancy!
Being active throughout your pregnancy is encouraged to help you feel better throughout pregnancy and better prepare your body and mind for the stress of childbirth. Labour and delivery is like running a marathon. It is a long bout of physical exertion. Would you go into a marathon without training? Why try to go through labour without training? Simply walking every day is a good start. Body weight movements or weight training is also beneficial.

Physical Activity in pregnancy improves your sleep, reduces anxiety and physical discomforts and as always – can boost your overall mental state. Exercise has also been proven to help prevent or manage Gestational Diabetes, improve birthweight of baby, increase Mama’s chances for an easier, less complicated delivery. It will also set you and your baby(ies) on the right path to an enjoyable postnatal period.

Prenatal Assessment $75/hr

If you have aches/pains in your back or pelvis, or are worried about Diastasis Recti, we can assess your current mobility and set you on the right path for a pain-free, active pregnancy and strong delivery.

Private Training Session $75/hr

Want to resolve pains or just move more. We can help with everything from gentle movements to heavy lifting. Whatever your preference.
